In May-June,

Greece is lush and green, flowers everywhere, ideal sunny weather (65°-83°), but no tourist mobs yet -- and prices are off-season! I bargain for great rates

at small family hotels.

By year's end,

I need to have my "final foursome" settled,
so I can make arrangements

for a memorable trip.

Let's talk now!
If Greek island-hopping appeals to you --
I appeal to you to hop to it, and contact me right away!

Why NOW? Because I'm only taking 4 travel companions, and you don't want to be left out.

How much will the trip  cost? That's really up to you, because (except for your airfare  and my small fee in advance) this is not a pre-paid  trip. You pay as you go for daily expenses-- and it will cost you far less than a profit-making "tour package." PLUS, you have a far richer experience,   discovering cozy family inns, tavernas where locals eat, and tiny cafes with a sea-view, things  that big groups can't do. (Check What They Say for how others like my choices).

What's Your Best Estimate? I endeavor to find lodging & meals bargains that will enable my travel companions to cover the basics on an all-inclusive estimate of 70-75 Euros per day, starting/ending at Athens Airport, plus a one-way airfare to our first island (at about 70Euros). Multiply that by the number of days we decide on, plus your round-trip airfare and my small fee. The actual total in dollars is dependent, of course, upon the exchange rate at the time of the trip.
What does 'all-inclusive' mean? Just about EVERYTHING except gifts: lodging, meals,  ferries, shared car rental, site admissions, beach-chair rental, snacks--- the works!  Of course you can splurge on extras, but that's up to you.
What about airfare? I'll scout out the best prices and flights, make reservations  and alert you to phone in to charge your ticket. You have frequent-flyer miles? Fine!   Search out the flights that will accept them. The only requirement is that you arrive in  Athens Airport  roughly the same time the rest of us do, or earlier.
What do I (Janet) do, and what is the fee? I make all plans and arrangements, customizing to suit your interests. I supply  a compact pre-trip kit: what to pack, detailed itinerary, info on all islands. Then I'm your personal guide throughout the trip, walking  you through museums and ruins , leading you through the ferry  adventure and to wonderful budget hotels, hidden beaches, out-of-the way shops you don't find in the guidebooks. Want a day's outing on your own? That's fine, too. For all that, my fee, (due a month in advance) is just $500 -- it's just to partly defray my own travel costs.
What will the group be like?  As for me, I'm a writer-editor (retired) from Philadelphia, fit and funny and a history buff. My travel companions have been active, intelligent professionals, both male and female, ages 37-67, but all have been adventurous with a good sense of humor. If  that sounds appealing to you, welcome aboard!
Want to know more? Contact me by phone or e-mail to discuss timetable, costs, your "travel style," etc. But DON'T DELAY. Traveling with new friends can work out well, when you have time to get acquainted, even at long distance. Through the Internet, I've found travel pals from Maine, Myrtle Beach, Tennessee and New Jersey and we learned a lot via telephone and e-mail before we ever met.  And we all had a wonderful time together.
I look forward to hearing from you. Let's start talking!
